City of Geneva Rebranding
The rebranding of the city of Geneva, Illinois was a project done as a class project. Before the project started I recognized that the city had an inconsistent brand and it was not distinct. I visited the city, talked to city officials and established goals for the city of Geneva. Geneva would like to attract new businesses, residents, and boost the city’s reputation. Bringing people to the city and having them enjoy their time is extremely important. As a city, they want to be able to compete with the surrounding town while providing a community environment. Some of the brand attributes to describe the new brand is expressive, sophisticated, inviting and unique. The rebranding of the city included: a logo, city brochure, street banners, stationery system, motion graphic ads, website, and a brand manual.
